MARY EDNA (HENRIETTA) SANDS – THOMPSON, was born on 12th May 1952 in Rock Sound, Eleuthera to the late Charles and Fymicia Sands. He was always called Henrietta by her siblings.
Henrietta received her early education at St. Anne’s Primary School, and Rock Sound All Age School, Rock Sound, Eleuthera. A few years after completing school, Henrietta met and married the late Gustavos Thompson of North Palmetto Point, Eleuthera where they resided and reared the children. Even after the death of her husband she remained in North Palmetto Point and worked to support her children.
