Captain O’Neal Samuel Nehemiah Williams

On a beautiful morning of November 7th, 1986 a bouncing baby boy was born to Bishop Bert Livingstone and Ettamae Brecitta Williams Jr. The name of O’Neal Samuel Nehemiah Williams was given, and he grew to be a quiet, loving young man with a passion for his family.

O’Neal received his early education at the Marsh Harbour Primary School and then on to Abaco Central High School where he graduated. He developed a passion and deep love for flying and began his pursuit of getting his charter pilot license and certification. He got married to his now ex-wife Nia Mondanna Burrows on December 14th, 2007 after which they traveled together to Pompano Beach, Florida for him to get his pilot license.

It was during this time there in January of 2008, he learned that he was a diabetic. When he was rushed by ambulance to the hospital, the doctor told his wife that his blood glucose was over 1,100 and that he should not be alive or conscious, which he was. He came back home and went through a lot of ups and downs with his health, his marriage and career.

O’Neal tried many avenues to support himself and help care for his parents, but due to his health issues he was not able to complete any of his pursuits. He spent his last Christmas at home in Abaco with his family and returned to Nassau. On Friday January 20th, 2023 O’Neal was admitted to PMH for dialysis to drain his body of fluid due to his kidneys failing. Tuesday morning at 2 am, O’Neal slipped from time into eternity.
